Are you an experienced accountant with a passion for driving financial process improvements? This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in our firm’s ambitious growth strategy as we aim to double in size over the next five years. If you’re looking for a role where you can make a real impact, this could be the perfect fit!
As Group Management Accountant, you’ll take ownership of multiple finance projects while contributing to the quarterly consolidation of management accounts across our four group companies. You’ll work closely with the Financial Controller to enhance systems and reporting, ensuring efficiency and accuracy at every stage.
What you’ll be doing:
- Partner with the Financial Controller on strategic initiatives and deliver key milestones
- Drive improvements in financial processes, reporting, and systems
- Consolidate quarterly management accounts across the Group
- Prepare subsidiary MI packs and maintain balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with annual budgets, forecasts, and profitability analysis
- Support year-end accounts and liaise with external accountants
- Manage budgeting and reforecast processes
- Assist with statutory reporting, including financial statements
What we’re looking for:
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified (or QBE)
- Strong Excel skills and working knowledge of Sage 200
- Methodical, analytical, and detail-oriented
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Ability to solve problems and think proactively
