Are you an experienced Tax Advisory and looking for a new role within a thriving Private Client department?
This role will play a key part in our firm’s ambitious growth plans to double in size over the next five years. If you want to be part of a Firm where you can make a significant impact, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a highly skilled team that collaborates with a diverse portfolio of clients, delivering expert support in cash extraction planning, capital gains tax, and the taxation of trusts and estates. You will also be responsible for managing your own portfolio of clients as well as supporting more junior members of staff.
In this role, no two clients or days will be the same, making it perfect for a tax advisory expert eager for a new challenge at a prestigious top 12 accountancy firm.
The important work you will be doing:
- Oversee a portfolio of private client tax returns, including trusts, estates, partnerships and high net worth individuals
- Identify tax-saving opportunities to optimise client’s tax positions
- Work with the tax partner and senior manager to provide tax planning and advisory services in relation to Inheritance tax, capital gains tax and income tax.
- Review personal and trust and estate tax returns and other work prepared by junior staff
- Supervise and mentor junior staff
The skills and experience you will bring:
- ATT, CTA or ACCA Qualified
- 2/3 years working in advisory
- Strong technical understanding of tax
- Strong excel skills
- Strong written and verbal communicator
