As a Corporate Tax Manager, you’ll gain extensive exposure across various areas of Corporate Tax Compliance while working closely with our audit team and mentoring junior tax professionals. While compliance will be your primary focus, you’ll also have opportunities to support advisory projects on an ad-hoc basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to grow within an ambitious firm; our very own Tax Partner started as a Tax Assistant!

The important work you will be doing:

  • Manage the corporate tax compliance process for a portfolio of OMB and/or large corporate clients
  • Liaise with the audit team to manage deadlines and provide tax provisions for statutory accounts
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients while managing junior team members to deliver work on time
  • Provide training, feedback, and development support to junior tax advisors
  • Direct line management responsibility for some junior team members
  • Handle correspondence with HMRC and liaise with representatives as needed
  • Work with senior tax team members to identify additional opportunities (e.g., R&D, transfer pricing)
  • Support the advisory team on an ad-hoc basis

The skills and experience you will bring:

  • ACA or CTA qualified
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in Corporate Tax
  • Experience working with owner-managed businesses and/or large corporates
  • Strong Excel skills
