Experienced In-House Talent Acquisition Specialist

Introduction to the Division: Tax. Our tax service line covers Corporate Tax, Human Capital, Indirect Tax, Private Clients and Tax Disputes. The team has grown significantly and has ambitious plans for the future. We work across all sectors, with specialisms in insurance, property, technology, international businesses, high net worth individuals and globally mobile individuals.
Responsibilities
The role requires an ambitious, confident individual with strong UK International Human Capital skills. Our human capital and private client teams work closely together and we are looking for someone with an interest in international tax to support both teams. The Tax Team is growing and this role represents an ideal opportunity for an individual with good technical skills who is looking to broaden their client-facing role and who enjoys working in a collaborative team. The successful candidate will be well organised, have a good range of specialist skills and have experience working with middle market clients, offering a high touch service. It is essential that the candidate has good people skills and is used to dealing with people at all levels in an organisation. The successful individual will have the opportunity to get involved with business development and managing graduates and junior staff within the team.
Client Responsibilities
- Handling client queries and corresponding with HMRC on behalf of clients
- Completion/Review of UK personal tax returns for internationally mobile clients
- Written advisory work
- Taking part in client meetings – both at individual and corporate level
- Helping to develop client relationships
- Modified payroll calculations, hypothetical tax calculations and various other ad-hoc calculations that will assist companies in determining the correct remuneration for their employees in home and host countries
- Responsibility for maintaining client records and compliance progress throughout the year
- Working with teams across the firm to support their international tax client advisory needs
- Assisting with marketing and business development opportunities
Financial
- Manage WIP and billing for own clients, ensuring commercial recoveries
Special work/ad hoc assignments
- Opportunities to train staff on human capital/international tax matters
- Support with tender proposals
People Management

Person Specification
- ACA/CA/CTA, or equivalent, qualified
- Up-to-date technical skills in global mobility work gained in practice

- Able to explain complex issues so non-tax experts will understand
- Able to work efficiently and meet deadlines
- Financial awareness and the ability to manage a client portfolio profitably
- Ability to deal with tax advisory matters and report writing
