In a nutshell
This role offers the opportunity to work as part of our collaborative strong, multi-discipline tax team and our award-winning Corporate Finance team. You will focus on transaction and M&A tax advisory work as part of our dedicated Transaction Tax team, providing services to a wide range of clients including large corporate clients and private equity houses. You will receive guidance and support from experienced Tax Partners, allowing you to grow both the practice and your tax career.
What you\’ll be doing day to day
- Supporting buy-side and vendor due diligence projects
- Assisting with vendor advice, including clearances and pre-sale structuring
- Helping with buy-side structuring for private equity-backed transactions
- Supporting corporate restructuring, demergers, reorganisations, and management buyouts
- Providing assistance with deal support, such as reviewing Sales and Purchase Agreements
- Collaborating with non-UK firms in the PKF network on international tax projects
- Helping the team build client relationships and contribute to the growth of the Transaction Tax practice
- Providing support to junior members of the team, fostering their professional growth
About you
- Experience in tax, with a focus on company and shareholder taxation, structuring, and transactions
- Strong understanding of UK tax legislation and regulations
- CTA qualified
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
