Responsibilities

  • Advising our clients in areas such as corporate reconstructions, transactions, incorporations and shareholder exit planning, including management buyouts and company purchase of own shares.
  • Preparing initial advice reports, structure planning reports, HMRC clearance letters and reviewing legal documentation from a tax perspective.
  • Working with managers and Directors in the owner‑managed business advisory team to deliver tax advisory work.
  • Liaising with clients via telephone calls, Teams meetings and face‑to‑face meetings.
  • Researching and preparing proposals and scopes for new work.
  • Staying updated on tax legislation and policies.

Qualifications

  • ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified or equivalent.
  • Demonstrable experience of tax advisory in the areas above.
  • In‑depth knowledge of UK tax legislation and HMRC compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Proactive, with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
