With transactions typically ranging from £1m to £100m, our work increasingly extends across international borders through our global PKF network.

What you\’ll be doing day to day
- Support the M&A team on varied assignments for clients across the UK
- Day to day lead on M&A transactions including:
- Pitching to prospective clients and playing an influential role
- Engaging with investors and buyers on mandates
- Analysing extensive data to produce high-quality marketing materials
- Coordinating client responses and addressing issues proactively
- Evaluating initial bids to ensure competitive tension and profitable outcomes including negotiations on behalf of your client
- Providing financial and commercial advice during deal closures
- Conduct market research to assess industry trends and the impact of regulatory developments on clients
- Collaborate closely with Partners, Directors, and other team members on a daily basis
- Contribute to business development, including drafting proposals, attending events, and participating in pitch meetings
About you
- Previous experience in a corporate finance role (M&A, due diligence or capital markets) or equivalent
- Commercially astute, demonstrating a curious and analytical mindset to deliver value to clients
- Highly accurate, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective interaction with both internal and external networks
- Self-motivated, capable of working independently while managing time efficiently to meet deadlines
- Quick learner, adept at synthesising information from multiple sources with ease
- Team player, adaptable and ready to support the Corporate Finance team as needed
- Experienced in report writing, with a proven ability to produce high-quality documentation.
