As a Manager in our Employment Tax team, you’ll take ownership of a varied portfolio of advisory work while building strong client relationships. You’ll deliver high quality technical advice across areas such as PAYE, NICs, IR35 and global mobility, support business development activity, and contribute to the ongoing growth of the team. This role offers clear progression, with the opportunity to further develop your leadership, commercial and client management skills.

What you’ll be doing day to day:

  • Delivering employment tax advisory work across PAYE, NICs, benefits, IR35 and global mobility
  • Managing a portfolio of clients and building strong, trusted relationships
  • Supporting business development activity, including identifying opportunities and contributing to proposals
  • Advising on IR35 and off payroll working, including reviews and remediation projects
  • Carrying out employment tax risk reviews, audits and due diligence
  • Supporting the structuring of tax efficient remuneration and termination packages
  • Collaborating with colleagues across HR, Finance, Legal and wider Tax teams
  • Coaching and supporting junior team members
  • Keeping clients up to date on legislative changes and emerging risks

About you:

  • ACA, ACCA or CTA qualified (or equivalent)
  • Strong experience in UK employment tax at Manager level
  • Good technical knowledge across employment tax areas including P11Ds and PSAs
  • Exposure to global mobility is advantageous but not essential
  • Confident communicator with strong relationship building skills
  • Commercially aware, proactive and motivated to develop your career
