You may already be working as an Executive Assistant or Personal Assistant supporting a senior leader and know their diary and working week inside out. Twiddling your thumbs would be your worst nightmare – you thrive on juggling multiple priorities, staying one step ahead, and keeping everything running seamlessly. This is a significant role within a fast-paced environment and not one for the faint-hearted. In this role, you’ll be supporting PKF Francis Clark’s highly successful Corporate Finance team, recognised for delivering outstanding outcomes for clients. The Corporate Finance team was voted Team of the Year at the Insider Deal Awards, completed more deals in the South West than any other advisory firm in 2025, achieved a further record year of financial performance in 2025/26 with a strong pipeline for 2026/27, and advises a number of Private Equity firms on their regional investments.
What you’ll be doing day to day:
- Reviewing matters requiring action and proactively progressing items on behalf of Partners
- Managing Partner diaries, including resolving clashes, allowing for travel time, ensuring meeting readiness, and booking meeting rooms
- Liaising closely with Partners to ensure all prospects are accurately captured on the Corporate Finance business development sheet
- Booking meetings for Partners, both internal and external
- Organising conferences and meetings - taking minutes where required
- Processing expenses efficiently and accurately
- Preparing presentations and supporting materials for meetings and events
- Building strong working relationships and liaising with Heads of Department and teams across the firm
About you:
- You take ownership of your workload and consistently deliver to deadlines
- You handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion, integrity, and professionalism
- You’re a confident communicator who builds strong relationships and works collaboratively with senior stakeholders
- Previous experience in a professional environment is essential; experience within professional services is advantageous but not essential
- You’re confident using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and are quick to learn new systems
- You demonstrate initiative, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent attention to detail
- You can prioritise effectively and manage multiple competing demands with strong organisational skills
- You’re flexible, proactive, and comfortable adapting to change in a fast-moving environment
- Ideally educated to A Level (or equivalent), with grades A–C / 5–9 in Maths and English
- A full driving licence and access would be highly preferred
