What you’ll be doing day to day:
- Manage a diverse portfolio of Private Client cases, including high‑net‑worth individuals, partnerships, non‑residents, and family‑owned businesses.
- Deliver high‑quality Private Client tax advice and support on advisory assignments.
- Prepare complex tax returns and review work completed by junior team members.
- Build trusted relationships with clients, acting as a key point of contact and liaising directly with HMRC.
- Collaborate with Partners, Directors, and Managers on new client work and specialist projects.
- Mentor and support less experienced team members, helping develop their technical and professional skills.
About you:
- ATT/CTA qualified or currently studying towards CTA with relevant experience.
- Strong background in Private Client tax compliance, with exposure to advisory work.
- Confident using tax software and computer‑based tax compilation tools, plus solid MS Excel, Word, and Outlook skills.
- Clear and effective communicator, able to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Proactive, organised, and comfortable managing your own workload and deadlines.
- Enjoys problem‑solving and supporting the development of others.
- Commercially aware, with an interest in contributing to the wider success of the team.
