In a nutshell
As a Tax Advisor, you\’ll advise clients on capital gains tax, estate and inheritance tax planning, UK property tax planning, remuneration tax planning, incorporations (particularly around property businesses), business restructures, and individual succession planning.

What you\’ll be doing day to day
- Take the lead in advising clients in areas such as capital gains tax, estate and inheritance tax planning, UK property tax planning, remuneration tax planning, incorporations particularly around property businesses, business restructures and individual succession planning
- Act as point of contact with clients and colleagues across different departments
- Identify potential tax planning opportunities and / or tax risks
- Prepare initial advice reports, reports on specific planning, HMRC clearance letters and reviewing legal documentation from a tax perspective
- Work with Senior Managers and Directors in the owner managed business advisory team to deliver tax advisory work
- Research and prepare proposals and scopes for new work
- Manage, supervise and support the work of less experienced team members
About you
- ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified or equivalent
- Previous experience of tax advisory in areas outlined above
- Previous experience in the agricultural is beneficial but not essential
- In-depth knowledge of UK tax legislation and HMRC compliance requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders
