Contract Details

  • Contract 1: Monday to Friday 7am to 12pm (25 hours per week, overtime available during holiday periods). Starting hourly rate is equal to national minimum wage.
  • Contract 2: Monday to Friday 12pm to 5pm (25 hours per week, overtime available during holiday periods). Starting hourly rate is equal to national minimum wage.

About the Company

PK Motors ARC Ltd has been in existence since 1971. The company is currently headed by Phil's daughter Katy and son‑in‑law Daniel, with plans to expand services and technology over the next 12 months.

Role Overview

You will be the face of the company, taking courtesy vehicles to customers, collecting them for repair, and returning them upon completion. You will ensure the courtesy vehicles are cleaned, fully working and documented for any damage prior to handover. You will also document customers' vehicle conditions before repairs, carry out damage checks, and upsell available services. When not on the road you will assist with tasks around the site, such as cleaning courtesy vehicles, pre‑washing repair cars and general housekeeping.

Role Requirements

  • No specific experience required; full on‑the‑job training will be provided.
  • Computer literate; majority of checks are carried out using software on Android tablets.
  • Full Clean UK Driving Licence and over the age of 25 (required for Motor Traders Insurance).
  • Well presented and punctual, with a desire to deliver excellent customer service.
  • DBS check required before offer of employment.
