Due to continued growth, we're looking for an experienced Case Maker / Export Packer to join the team here at P K Marine Freight.

Based out of our 70,000 sq. ft. warehouse in Knowsley, we've been offering full cargo handling and logistics services for the last 57 years! We are looking to expand the team due to an exciting period of growth, change, and with ambitious business planning pushing for substantial development over the next few years.
The Job: Working in a well-established team of Export Packers, your day-to-day duties will vary from manufacturing export cases, packing and securing a wide range of goods into cases, receiving cargo, and using overhead cranes and forklift trucks. The new team member will also be required to load and secure export projects into shipping containers and flat racks. As part of the role, you will be expected to maintain high standards of health and safety, quality, and site maintenance to align with the company's overall policies.
Essential Experience:
- Previous export packing or case making experience (measuring, cutting timber, using saws and hand tools)
- Willingness to work away and overnight on occasions
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to work outside normal remit
- Excellent timekeeping
- Experience driving forklift truck
Desirable: Use of overhead crane.

We offer a competitive salary with the option to work voluntary overtime on occasions, a discretionary annual bonus, and a company pension scheme. We offer 22 days holiday per year which increases with length of service, plus the 8 bank holidays. Working hours are Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 16:30 and Friday 08:00 - 15:00.
