PK Education are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 6 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Digbeth, Birmingham. This is a full-time maternity cover position starting in September 2026 and running until July 2027.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Key Stage 2 teacher who is confident teaching Year 6 and supporting pupils through their final year of primary school, including preparation for SATs and transition to secondary education.

The Role:
  • Full-time Year 6 class teacher
  • Planning, preparing and delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
  • Preparing pupils for Key Stage 2 SATs
  • Assessing and tracking pupil progress
  • Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and school staff
  • Communicating effectively with parents and carers
