About the Role:

We are working with a specialist SEND provision supporting a small cohort of pupils with complex communication needs. This setting operates within a structured, low-arousal environment designed to support pupils with:

  • Autism (ASD)
  • Speech & Language needs
  • Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD)
  • Emotional regulation and anxiety

This is not a typical classroom setting — the focus is on individual development, communication, and consistency.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Experience supporting children with ASD and/or speech & language needs
  • A calm, patient and nurturing approach
  • Ability to work within structured routines
  • Strong communication skills and emotional awareness
  • Background in SEND, care, or support work (desirable)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis
  • Assisting with communication-based learning activities
  • Encouraging emotional regulation and engagement
  • Working closely with teaching staff and SEND specialists

Competitive rates of pay from between £90- £110 per day (AWR Compliant)
