PK Education are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic MFL Teacher to join a secondary school in Wakefield from September 2026. This is a full-time opportunity for a passionate teacher who can inspire students and deliver engaging Modern Foreign Languages lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
The successful candidate must be able to teach French to KS4 and demonstrate strong classroom management skills alongside a commitment to high-quality teaching and learning.
The Role:
- Teaching MFL across KS3 and KS4
- Delivering engaging practical and theory-based lessons
- Teaching French to KS4 students
- Assessing, monitoring, and tracking pupil progress
- Maintaining a safe, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
- Following all school behaviour, safeguarding, and curriculum policies
- Supporting students to achieve their full potential
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching MFL within secondary schools
- Ability to teach French to KS4
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Passionate, organised, and adaptable approach
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
Additional Requirements:
- Candidates must hold a valid driving licence and have access to a vehicle, as travel and occasional school-related visits may be required.
Pay: £180 – £230 per day
