Inclusion Support Worker – Wakefield Location: Wakefield, West Yorkshire Pay: £98–£108 per day Job Type: Full-Time, Long-Term Supply Start Date: ASAP About the Role PK Education is currently recruiting an experienced and enthusiastic Inclusion Support Worker to join an alternative education setting in Wakefield. This is a full-time opportunity supporting pupils across Key Stages 2 and 3 who require additional support with their learning, behaviour and emotional development. We are looking for someone who is confident, resilient and passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to education. Key Responsibilities Provide individual and small-group support to pupils across KS2 and KS3. Support pupils with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs. Implement positive behaviour management strategies. Help pupils engage with learning and develop confidence. Work collaboratively with teaching staff to maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment. Build positive, professional relationships with pupils. The Ideal Candidate Previous experience working with children or young people with SEND, SEMH or challenging behaviour. Experience in alternative provision, specialist education or mainstream inclusion settings is desirable. Strong communication and behaviour management skills. A patient, adaptable and proactive approach. A genuine commitment to supporting vulnerable learners. Registration Requirements For a smooth and efficient registration process, applicants must be able to provide: A minimum of two years' reference history. An enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for a new one. Proof of their right to work in the UK. Why Work with PK Education?
