This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students through engaging practical and theory-based lessons while supporting them in achieving excellent outcomes. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering Food Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4, preparing students for GCSE Food Preparation and Nutrition examinations, and fostering a positive learning environment where students can develop valuable life skills and subject knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and delivering engaging Food Technology lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
- Teaching GCSE Food Preparation and Nutrition
- Organising and supervising practical food preparation activities safely and effectively
- Assessing, monitoring, and reporting on student progress
- Maintaining high standards of behaviour and classroom management
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Contributing to departmental planning and curriculum development
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) essential
