Pay Rate: 180 - 250 per day

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students through engaging practical and theory-based lessons while supporting them in achieving excellent outcomes. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering Food Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4, preparing students for GCSE Food Preparation and Nutrition examinations, and fostering a positive learning environment where students can develop valuable life skills and subject knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and delivering engaging Food Technology lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
  • Teaching GCSE Food Preparation and Nutrition
  • Organising and supervising practical food preparation activities safely and effectively
  • Assessing, monitoring, and reporting on student progress
  • Maintaining high standards of behaviour and classroom management
  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Contributing to departmental planning and curriculum development

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) essential
