We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Business and ICT to join our dynamic team on a temporary, long-term basis starting in September 2025. This role presents a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to deliver engaging and high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and Key Stage 4. You will be joining a supportive department with excellent resources and a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in Business Studies and ICT that meet the needs of all students.
- Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and achievement.
- Contribute to the development of departmental schemes of work and assessments.
- Participate in departmental meetings, parent evenings, and whole school CPD.
Person Specification:
Qualifications:
- A relevant degree in Business, ICT, or a related subject.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- PGCE or other recognised teaching qualification (preferred for overseas-trained teachers).
Experience and Skills:
- Experience teaching Business and ICT at secondary level (KS3–KS4 required, KS5 desirable).
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
- Competent in the use of digital technology to enhance teaching and learning.
