PK Education is currently recruiting for an experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistant to work in a welcoming primary/secondary school in the S20 area of Sheffield. This role is ideal for a Teaching Assistant with strong experience supporting pupils with lower ability levels and Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), particularly those who have delivered and assessed structured interventions.

Key Responsibilities- Support pupils with lower ability and SEND within the classroom
- Deliver targeted small group and 1:1 interventions
- Assess pupils prior to and following interventions to measure progress
- Record and report on pupil progress
- Adapt resources to meet individual learning needs
- Work closely with teachers and SENCO
- Experience working with lower ability pupils and children with SEND
- Experience running structured interventions
- Experience assessing children pre- and post-intervention
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Training in ELSA, Lego Therapy or Bucket Time
- Accredited qualifications in educational interventions
- Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Dedicated local consultant support
