The Role
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with special educational needs
- Implement behaviour support strategies in line with Team Teach principles
- Support pupils' emotional regulation, engagement, and learning
- Work closely with the class teacher, SENCo, and wider pastoral team
- Contribute to a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
- Assist with personal care where required (depending on pupil needs)
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- A valid Team Teach qualification (essential)
- Experience working with children with SEN (e.g. ASD, ADHD, SEMH)
- A calm, patient, and resilient approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
