PK Education are recruiting staff who can carry out Literacy Interventions in South Yorkshire Primary Schools. Literacy is a huge focus in schools, and catch-up sessions and one-to-one and group support are required. Do you have good subject knowledge and qualifications in English? Would you like to work with children to help raise attainment? We want to hear from tutors and graduates who have worked with children, as well as teachers and teaching assistants who are interested in carrying out one-to-one work and taking small groups across primary schools.

The role involves working to increase pupils’ attainment in line with school expectations. You may be working one-to-one or with small groups with children of all primary ages, levels and abilities. You may work with pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds or who have additional needs and will need to use different strategies to help different pupils learn. You will work closely with other school staff and teachers, supporting the existing teaching, tracking and reviewing progress throughout.
