PK Education are working with a secondary school in Sheffield who are seeking a Drama Teacher to join them on a part-time basis until the end of the academic year. This is a flexible role, ideal for a Drama specialist looking for consistent work two days per week.
The Role
You will be teaching Drama on Wednesdays and Thursdays, primarily across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. On Wednesdays, the timetable currently consists of two Drama lessons; however, during periods of low cover demand, there may be a requirement to support with general cover across the school. The school are looking for someone who can bring creativity, energy, and strong classroom presence to engage students in practical and performance-based learning.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant secondary teaching experience
- Experience teaching Drama at KS3 and KS4
- Confidence managing practical, performance-based lessons
- Flexibility to support with general cover when required
- Strong behaviour management and classroom presence
