PK Education is currently recruiting a passionate and skilled Design & Technology (DT) Teacher to work in secondary schools across Sheffield. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher seeking flexible supply work or a longer-term placement, with competitive daily rates.
The Role
- Teaching Design & Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
- Planning and delivering engaging practical and theory-based lessons
- Assessing and tracking pupil progress
- Maintaining a safe, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
- Following school behaviour and safeguarding policies
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Design & Technology in UK secondary schools
- Strong subject knowledge across DT specialisms (e.g. resistant materials, product design, graphics, engineering)
- Good classroom management and communication skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
