PK Education is currently recruiting a passionate and skilled Design & Technology (DT) Teacher to work in secondary schools across Sheffield. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher seeking flexible supply work or a longer-term placement, with competitive daily rates.

The Role

  • Teaching Design & Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
  • Planning and delivering engaging practical and theory-based lessons
  • Assessing and tracking pupil progress
  • Maintaining a safe, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
  • Following school behaviour and safeguarding policies

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching Design & Technology in UK secondary schools
  • Strong subject knowledge across DT specialisms (e.g. resistant materials, product design, graphics, engineering)
  • Good classroom management and communication skills
  • A commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
