Are you an experienced SEND professional looking for your next challenge? This role would suit experienced HLTAs, Inclusion Leads, Learning Mentors, Behaviour Mentors or SEND Practitioners seeking a long-term position within a specialist SEMH resource provision.
PK Education are recruiting for a SEND Intervention Lead to join a specialist SEMH resource provision in Leeds from September 2026.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted SEND interventions to individuals and small groups
- Support pupils with SEMH, autism, ADHD and additional learning needs
- Develop, implement and review Individual Support Plans (ISPs)
- Contribute towards EHCP targets and monitor pupil progress against outcomes
- Track, record and evaluate intervention impact using school systems
- Work closely with the SENCO, pastoral teams, class teachers and external agencies
- Support behaviour regulation and emotional wellbeing strategies
- Deliver pre-teaching, catch-up programmes and bespoke interventions to address barriers to learning
- Provide feedback to staff and families regarding pupil progress and next steps
- Promote positive engagement, attendance and inclusion within the school community
The successful candidate will have:
- HLTA Qualification or equivalent experience
- Strong SEND knowledge and understanding
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Commitment to promoting the best outcomes for all pupils
