SEN Teaching Assistant required – Gateshead – £95 – £105 per day Are you a SEN Teaching Assistant with a passion to encourage progression in your pupils? This rewarding role is to start in September and will be ongoing until further notice. SEN Teaching Assistant responsibilities and duties: –     You will be required to teach KS3 and KS4 students with various degrees of SEN difficulties, including Autism. – You will at all times implement school policies and procedures and manage the classroom and behaviour. SEN Teaching Assistants of all levels and experience will be considered for this role, including NQTs. To be considered for the SEN Teaching Assistant role you should have: ·       The relevant qualifications to work in a teaching environment with SEN students. ·       The ability to quickly build positive relationships with both staff and students. ·      Previous experience providing support and assistance to SEN students. Experience working with students with Autism is an advantage. SEN Teaching Assistant Salary and Benefits: ·       Competitive rates of pay from between £95 to £105 per day (AWR Compliant). ·       24/7 support and feedback from experienced education consultants. ·       Exposure and networking opportunities to associated schools.
