SEMH / SEND Teacher – South Leeds – Full time, Long Term until January 2027
We are recruiting a resilient and committed SEMH / SEND Teacher to join a specialist setting in South Leeds. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity running through to January 2027, teaching primary-model pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This role requires a strong classroom presence, consistency, and the ability to build meaningful relationships with pupils who require structure, patience, and understanding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging primary-level lessons tailored to SEMH needs
- Manage behaviour effectively using a calm and consistent approach
- Support pupils with additional learning and emotional needs
- Work collaboratively with support staff and leadership
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience in SEMH, SEND, PRU or alternative provision
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Resilient, adaptable and relationship-driven
- QTS preferred, but strong unqualified teachers will be considered
Competitive rates of pay from between £160 - £200 per day (AWR Compliant)
