SEMH / SEND Teacher – South Leeds – Full time, Long Term until January 2027

We are recruiting a resilient and committed SEMH / SEND Teacher to join a specialist setting in South Leeds. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity running through to January 2027, teaching primary-model pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This role requires a strong classroom presence, consistency, and the ability to build meaningful relationships with pupils who require structure, patience, and understanding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging primary-level lessons tailored to SEMH needs
  • Manage behaviour effectively using a calm and consistent approach
  • Support pupils with additional learning and emotional needs
  • Work collaboratively with support staff and leadership

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience in SEMH, SEND, PRU or alternative provision
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • Resilient, adaptable and relationship-driven
  • QTS preferred, but strong unqualified teachers will be considered

Competitive rates of pay from between Β£160 - Β£200 per day (AWR Compliant)
