Are you a passionate and adaptable Primary Teacher looking for flexible teaching opportunities across the Selby and surrounding areas? PK Education are currently recruiting enthusiastic and committed Primary Teachers to support schools across Monk Fryston, Saxton, Sherburn and the wider Selby area. We are working closely with local primary schools and federations who require reliable teachers for a variety of roles including:

  • Day‑to‑day cover
  • PPA cover
  • Long‑term positions
  • SEND intervention support
  • Small group teaching
  • EYFS, KS1 and KS2 roles

Location: Castleford / Saxton / Selby area / Sherburn

Pay: £150 - £220 per day depending on experience and role

Hours: Full‑time and part‑time opportunities available

Start Date: September 2026 opportunities available alongside day‑to‑day, short‑term and long‑term cover

Requirements:

  • Have experience within Primary settings
  • Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Can build positive relationships quickly
  • Have experience supporting pupils with SEND needs including Autism, ADHD and SEMH
  • Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Can provide two professional references
