Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant required in Birmingham. Salary: £97–£115 per day. Start date: November.

Are you a SEN Teaching Assistant with a passion to encourage progression in your pupils?

This opportunity offers flexibility and placement in a good secondary SEN school in Birmingham for the academic year.

Responsibilities

  • Support students with SEN difficulties, in particular Autism.
  • Implement school policies and procedures at all times and manage the classroom and behaviour.
  • Consider applications from SEN Teaching Assistants of all levels and experience, including NQTs.

Qualifications

  • Relevant qualifications to work in a teaching environment with SEN students.
  • Ability to quickly build positive relationships with both staff and students.
  • Previous experience providing support to SEN students with strong classroom management skills.
