PK Education are currently recruiting School Caretakers to work across a range of schools in various locations. We are looking for reliable, practical and hardworking individuals to support schools with the day-to-day running, security and maintenance of their premises.

The Role

As a School Caretaker, you will be responsible for ensuring the school site is safe, secure and well maintained. You will work closely with school staff and contractors to ensure the premises are kept to a high standard.

Duties may include:

  • Opening and locking the school premises
  • Carrying out daily security and safety checks
  • General maintenance and minor repairs
  • Ensuring the school grounds and buildings are safe and presentable
  • Setting up rooms and moving furniture/equipment when required
  • Monitoring deliveries and contractors
  • Reporting any maintenance or health and safety issues
  • Carrying out general caretaking duties as required
  • Supporting the school with site-related emergencies
