PK Education are working with a Rotherham secondary school who are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work within their onsite Inclusion Resource Unit (IR Unit) from September 2026. This is a highly rewarding role supporting students who require additional behavioural, emotional, or learning support within a smaller and more structured setting inside the mainstream school.
You will primarily work with small groups of students, helping them engage with learning, regulate behaviour, and successfully reintegrate into mainstream lessons where appropriate. The IR Unit has a calm and supportive environment, with strong staffing levels and clear systems in place. Staff work closely together to provide consistency, structure, and positive relationships for students who may struggle in larger classroom settings.
