PK Education are working with a secondary school in Rotherham who are looking to appoint a Physics Teacher on a permanent basis from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful Science department that is well-resourced, supportive, and committed to achieving strong outcomes across all key stages.

The school are particularly keen to hear from Physics specialists who can inspire curiosity, challenge students academically, and help develop a passion for science beyond the classroom. Physics is well established within the curriculum, with strong uptake at GCSE and opportunities to teach A-Level Physics for suitably experienced candidates.

The Role

  • Teaching Physics across KS3 and KS4
  • Potential KS5 teaching for candidates with relevant experience
  • Planning and delivering engaging practical and theory-based lessons
  • Monitoring and assessing student progress
  • Contributing to the wider Science department

What We're Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Specialism in Physics or a related scientific discipline
  • Experience teaching Science within a secondary school setting
  • Strong classroom management and subject knowledge
  • Ability to motivate and inspire learners of all abilities
