Evening & Weekend Support Worker – Supporting Vulnerable Young People

PK Education are currently recruiting for a compassionate and dedicated Evening & Weekend Support Worker to support young people within a SEND and Residential SEMH setting in Rotherham. This rewarding ongoing role is ideal for individuals with experience in residential care, support work, youth work, or SEMH environments who are passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of vulnerable young people.

Working during evenings and weekends, you will provide practical, emotional, and behavioural support to help young people develop confidence, resilience, and independence within a safe and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing high-quality support to young people with SEND and SEMH needs
  • Promoting positive behaviour and implementing behaviour management strategies
  • Supporting emotional wellbeing and personal development
  • Building positive and trusting relationships with young people
  • Encouraging engagement in activities that promote confidence and independence
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns appropriately
  • Adhering to safeguarding procedures and promoting the welfare of all young people
