About the Role
You will lead a Key Stage 3/4 nurture class, delivering a broad, balanced curriculum tailored to individual EHCPs while promoting life skills, emotional regulation, communication, and independence.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
- Create a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environment
- Promote pupil wellbeing, confidence, and emotional development alongside academic progress
- Use a range of teaching strategies and assistive technologies to meet individual needs
- Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress using school systems
MUST have strong classroom management skills. Previous experience of working in an SEMH environment and managing pupil behaviour would be an advantage.
