PK Education are currently looking to register enthusiastic and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistants for upcoming opportunities across Newcastle and the surrounding areas. We work with a range of primary and secondary schools and are looking to speak with Teaching Assistants who are available for daily supply, short-term and long-term assignments.
The Role
- Support teachers with the delivery of engaging lessons
- Work with pupils individually or in small groups to support learning
- Assist pupils with their academic, social and emotional development
- Support classroom management and maintain a positive learning environment
- Prepare classroom resources and learning materials
- Provide support to pupils with additional needs where required
- Monitor and report on pupil progress
- Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures
The Ideal Candidate
- Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
- Have previous experience working in a school or educational setting
- Have a genuine passion for supporting children's learning
- Are patient, reliable and enthusiastic
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Can work effectively as part of a team
- Are confident supporting pupils with a range of abilities and needs
