PK Education are currently looking to register enthusiastic and dedicated Key Stage 1 Teachers for upcoming opportunities across Newcastle and the surrounding areas. We work with a range of primary schools and are looking to speak with teachers who are available for daily supply, short-term and long-term assignments.
The Role
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development
- Assess and monitor pupil progress
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and school staff
- Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures
The Ideal Candidate
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have experience teaching Key Stage 1
- Have a good understanding of the KS1 curriculum
- Are passionate about supporting children's learning and development
- Have strong classroom management skills
- Are reliable, enthusiastic and adaptable
- Can build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues
