About the Role
As an Employer Engagement Tutor, you will play a vital role in bridging the gap between education and employment. You will work closely with students, staff, and local employers to create meaningful career-related opportunities and experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local employers and industry partners
- Organise and coordinate work placements, internships, and employer-led activities
- Support students in developing employability skills, including CV writing and interview preparation
- Deliver engaging sessions that connect learning to real-world career pathways
- Collaborate with school staff to embed careers education across the curriculum
- Track, monitor, and evaluate student progress within work-related learning programmes
About You
- Passionate about supporting young people into employment
- Excellent communication and networking skills
- Experience in employer engagement, education, or careers guidance (desirable)
- Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and a commitment to student wellbeing
