PK Education are currently recruiting for an organised and professional School Administrator to join a busy and welcoming secondary school in Newcastle on a full-time basis with an immediate start available. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator to work within a fast-paced school environment, supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the school office.

The successful candidate will have strong administrative and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while providing a professional and friendly service to staff, pupils, and visitors.

The Role:

  • Providing general administrative support to the school office
  • Managing incoming calls, emails, and visitor enquiries
  • Maintaining accurate pupil records and data systems
  • Supporting attendance, admissions, and safeguarding administration
  • Assisting with school communications and correspondence
  • Working closely with senior leadership and teaching staff
  • Using school systems such as SIMS, Arbor, or Bromcom (desirable)

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Previous administrative experience within a school setting desirable
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Experience using school systems such as SIMS, Arbor, or Bromcom advantageous
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A professional and approachable manner
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
