PK Education are currently recruiting qualified KS2 Teachers for a range of supply and long-term opportunities across Leeds, starting from September. We are working with a variety of welcoming primary schools seeking flexible, reliable KS2 teachers to support across lower and upper Key Stage 2. This role is ideal for teachers looking for flexibility, a better work life balance, or varied experience across different school settings, while still delivering high-quality teaching.

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging, effective lessons across KS2
  • Adapt teaching to suit mixed-ability classes
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Follow school policies and ensure safeguarding procedures are upheld
  • Roles available include day-to-day supply, short-term cover, and long-term placements

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (PGCE)
  • Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum (lower and/or upper KS2)
  • Ability to quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff
  • Confident classroom management skills
  • A genuine passion for teaching and learning
  • Experience teaching mixed-ability groups is desirable
