PK Education are currently recruiting Level 3 qualified Early Years Teaching Assistants to work on a temp-to-perm basis in a fantastic, supportive primary school in Wakefield.
This is an exciting opportunity for passionate Early Years professionals who have experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and are looking for stability alongside flexibility.

You will be responsible for:
- Supporting children 1:1 and in small groups, including pupils with SEND needs
- Assisting the class teacher with learning activities and interventions
- Creating a positive, nurturing learning environment
- Following school policies and safeguarding procedures
- Promoting emotional, social and academic development
Full support and guidance will be provided by both the school and PK Education.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
- Proven experience working in Early Years settings
- Experience supporting children with SEND needs (essential)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A caring, patient and proactive approach
- A genuine passion for education and child development
Competitive daily rates £12.07 - £14.43 per hour (depending on experience)
