PK Education is looking to expand its team of experienced Learning Support Assistants for full-time opportunities within secondary schools across Leeds. We are seeking confident and committed individuals who have previous experience supporting secondary-aged pupils. Assignments may include general classroom support, small-group interventions, 1:1 support and helping pupils with SEND or social, emotional and behavioural needs to engage successfully with education.
The successful candidate will:
- Have relevant experience within a secondary school or comparable education setting
- Understand the needs and challenges facing secondary-aged pupils
- Be confident supporting SEND, behaviour and emotional regulation
- Build positive, professional relationships while maintaining clear boundaries
- Work collaboratively with teaching, pastoral and SEND teams
- Be reliable and available for full-time work, Monday to Friday
- Be committed to securing positive outcomes for pupils
- Experience supporting autism, ADHD, SEMH, challenging behaviour, complex needs or pupils with EHCPs would be particularly beneficial.
