PK Education is seeking to appoint a Primary School Teacher to join our supply teaching team and to work in a local primary school in Sheffield. This is a full-time primary teaching role, covering a Year 1 class which will commence as soon as possible. The position could become permanent.

The role involves teaching a Year 1 class of 29 pupils with a wide range of ability levels, suitable for Early Career Teachers but ideally with recent teaching experience in Year 1. The school is a larger‑than‑average school with high standards and expects the best provision for the children under its care. The teacher will be supported by an outstanding and passionate management team and will work with excellent practitioners who put children at the heart of everything they do.

Responsibilities

  • The teacher will plan and deliver inspiring lessons that meet the needs of Year 1 pupils.
  • Support the development of students across the curriculum.
  • Maintain high expectations and foster a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Have experience teaching primary education in either KS1 or KS2.
  • Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of primary teachers.
