PK Education is working in partnership with a well-established secondary school in West Yorkshire to recruit an experienced and confident ICT Teacher for a full-time temporary role, term-time only.
This role involves delivering engaging and structured ICT / Computing lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, supporting students to develop strong digital skills, computing knowledge, and confidence in technology. The successful candidate will join a supportive department within a school that promotes high expectations, inclusion, and positive behaviour for learning.
The role will include planning and delivering high-quality ICT lessons in line with the national curriculum, assessing and tracking pupil progress, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining effective classroom management. You will be expected to adapt lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including students with SEND, while promoting e-safety and responsible use of technology. Collaboration with teaching staff and wider school teams is essential.
Applicants must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification and have a degree in ICT, Computing, or a related subject. Previous experience teaching ICT or Computing in a secondary school setting is required, along with strong classroom and behaviour management skills. A good understanding of the KS3 and GCSE curriculum, safeguarding responsibilities, and the ability to adapt quickly in a supply role are essential. A positive, professional, and flexible approach is key.
