PK Education is seeking a dedicated and resilient SEND Support / Teaching Assistant to work within a specialist secondary resource provision. This setting supports children and young people with a range of additional needs, including autism, communication difficulties, and behavioural challenges.
This is a hands-on, active role requiring individuals who are calm, adaptable, and confident in building positive relationships with pupils. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting students’ development, engagement, and wellbeing throughout the school day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils
- Manage behaviour in a calm, professional manner
- Encourage participation in learning and daily activities
- Work closely with teaching staff and follow structured guidance
- Adapt support strategies to meet individual student needs
About You:

- Have experience working with children or young people, or relevant transferable experience (e.g. youth work, support work, residential care, sports coaching)
