PK Education are working with a secondary school in Sheffield who are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work specifically within their English department from September 2026. This is not a traditional general classroom support role. The successful candidate will become part of the English faculty, supporting students across KS3 and KS4 within English lessons, intervention groups, and literacy support sessions.
You’ll work closely with class teachers to support students who may struggle with reading comprehension, written work, confidence in lessons, or maintaining focus within the classroom environment. The department has a strong team culture and places a huge emphasis on improving literacy, engagement, and confidence across the school.
The Role
