This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic practitioner with a strong background in English and a genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needs.
As English Lead, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering the English curriculum, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning while helping every student reach their full potential.
The Role
- Full-time, long-term position starting in September 2026
- Lead and develop the English curriculum across the school
- Deliver engaging, creative and differentiated English lessons
- Support students with a range of additional needs, including SEMH and SEND
- Work collaboratively with senior leaders, teachers and support staff
- Monitor student progress and contribute to curriculum planning and development
The Ideal Candidate
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have experience teaching English at secondary level
- Demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- Be passionate about supporting students with additional needs
