We are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming primary school in Birmingham, seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years professional to support pupils across Nursery and Reception.
The Role
As part of the Early Years team, you will play an important role in supporting children during a key stage of their learning and development. Responsibilities will include:
- Supporting small groups of pupils with learning and development activities
- Providing one-to-one support where needed
- Assisting the class teacher with engaging and creative Early Years activities
- Helping to create a positive, nurturing, and structured learning environment
- Supporting pupils with additional needs, including Autism, where required
Requirements
- A relevant Early Years qualification (essential)
- Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or school setting
- Ability to commit to 5 days a week, term time only
- A caring, proactive, and adaptable approach to supporting children
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
