PK Education is looking to appoint a Key Stage 1 Teacher to join our successful supply team and work in a local primary school in Doncaster. This is a fixed term Key Stage 1 Teaching role, based in a Year 2 classroom starting ASAP and continuing until June next year.
The role involves working as part of a dynamic and creative Key Stage 1 (KS1) team, focusing on providing an engaging Y2 curriculum. At times, the successful Key Stage 1 Teacher will also be providing small group catch up work for a class of 28 children.
The school is a good primary school looking for a committed and successful Key Stage 1 Teacher to join their motivated team. The Head Teacher has a positive approach to leading and managing the school. Children in Key Stage 1 currently make good to outstanding progress and enjoy coming to school.
Requirements:
- Hold QTS
- Have experience of working as a Year 2 class Teacher
- Be experienced in working with smaller nurture groups to boost attainment
- Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff
- Have experience supporting children in primary education in Key Stage 1 (KS1)
- Ideally have experience delivering Literacy and Maths interventions
