PK Education is currently recruiting confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across Sheffield. This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or anyone with experience working with young people who is looking to gain hands-on classroom experience.
The Role
- Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher
- Deliver pre-set lesson plans and manage classroom behaviour
- Ensure students remain on task and engaged with their work
- Provide feedback to teaching staff where required
Requirements
- Experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable)
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Confidence, adaptability, and a professional attitude
- An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
