You’ll be expected to lead lessons, manage behaviour and support students with their learning rather than simply supervise a class.
The role includes:
- Taking responsibility for classes across KS3 and KS4
- Delivering lessons and following existing schemes of work
- Managing behaviour and maintaining high expectations
- Supporting students across a range of abilities
- Working alongside teaching and pastoral staff
We’re looking for:
- Previous classroom or substantial education experience
- Confidence leading lessons independently
- Strong behaviour management
- Good subject knowledge
- A professional and consistent approach
This is a great option for somebody considering teacher training or looking to gain further classroom experience before progressing towards QTS.
